Quotes of the Week: May 1-7

These are my favorite quotes from the past week, mostly from shows currently on the air, but also other random things I happen to be watching.

Game of Thrones
Three-Eyed Raven: It is beautiful beneath the sea, but if you stay too long you drown.

Mrs. Maguire: I thought the better days would arrive. That’s what no one tells you. That how it starts is most likely how it ends.

Daniel: I can’t wait forever.
Leonard: That’s what you do, isn’t it? When you love someone. I know I waited long enough to meet you.

The Good Wife
Diane: Oh my god. I’m so sorry, David. The women outnumber the men. That must be so hard for you.

Vikner: My predecessor was a painter.
Joan: So was Hitler.

Jane the Virgin
Michael: This feel a little weird to you?
Rafael: Wait until Father’s Day.

Esteban: Draw thy sword!
Rogelio: That’s what she said.

Petra: When it comes to financial crimes and blackmail, come to me!

Castle: I don’t think date night counts when it’s a candlelit dinner with the butcher of Guadalajara.

The Flash
Dante: Every time I see you, we get attacked by lunatics with crazy weapons!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Daisy: Sometimes the world’s greatest miracles happen by accident.

Mack: Worse case scenario? If Hive can’t be killed?
Coulson: I’d suggest running. Very fast. Away.

Agent Piper: Friggin aliens just landed? We’re not gonna take a minute to let that soak in?

Orphan Black
Felix: What are you doing?
Donnie: I’m playing the part, darling.
Felix: No, darling. You’re mincing.
Donnie: I don’t know what that means.
Felix: Donnie, do you have any gay friends?
Donnie: No.
Felix: Yes, you do. Science commonly holds to believe that five to ten percent of your male friends are gay.
Donnie: Not in Bailey Downs.
Felix: Especially in Bailey Downs. The point is, you can’t tell, so don’t act gay.

Agent Dawson: Amazing what low self-esteem can do to a sociopath.

Grace and Frankie
Frankie: I ran into him at the farmer’s market when I was stalking him at the farmer’s market.

Murtagh: I will lay just vengeance at your feet, or be damned.

Jamie: Must I bear everyone’s weakness? May I not have my own?!
